1. Account Activation
Check whether the Parent's account has already been activated.
What you can do:
Step 1: Head into Admin tab and select the child's class
Step 2: Click onto the Family Tab and see the status of the account.
If the Parent's account shows like the following, it means the account has not been activated.
To activate: Simply click on the dropdown and select Activate Login"
2. Downloading the Correct App - Little Family Room App
Often times, Parents downloaded the LittleLives app instead which is meant for Educators.
What you can do:
Step 1: Check whether the app on their device whether they had download and the login page looks like the following:-
3. Verify the Parent's Email Address / Mobile details
Check whether the email registered in Littlelives is correct and tallies with the one Parent had provided.
What you can do:
Step 1: Head into Admin tab and select the child's class
Step 2: Click onto the Family Tab and scroll to see the email address/mobile number
Step 3: Check against any documents or Parent themselves to verify the correct spelling of the email address
If the email address/mobile number is incorrect, click on "Not Login Yet" dropdown to delete the profile. Select Add Family to re-enter the new and correct details. Proceed to activate the account accordingly.
4. Locating their Welcome Email
Once an account is activated, a welcome email is sent to their registered email inbox.
If Parent unable to locate it, it may have landed in their spam/junk folder or incidental deletion.
What you can do:
Step 1: Ask Parent to check their email's inbox.
Step 2: Confirm with Parent if the email had landed in their spam/junk folder
If Parent still unable to locate the email, simply head into our website or the app login page and select "Forgot Password" to reset their password accordingly.
5. Parent misplaced or forgot their password completely
How to go about resetting their password.
What you can do:
Step 1: Head into the Littlelives sign in page and click on Forgot Password
Step 2: Enter their email address
Step 3: An email will be sent to them with a link for them to reset.
Alternatively, you can always guide them to do it on their own. Either on web or Little Family Room app, simply click on Forgot Password and ask them to enter their email address.
An email with the link will be sent to them for them to reset their password accordingly.
If Parent do not remember what was the username(email address) they had registered with, you can check for them via Admin > Class > Family tab to check.
Check whether Parent has download Little Family Room or LittleLives App (some parents download LittleLives app for teacher so cannot login). If parents log in the right app, check the next step.
Step 2: Make sure that parents typed right email and password (sometime parents type [email protected] instead that [email protected])
Step 3: Reset password by click on “Forgot password”
Step 4: typing parents email and send reset email
Step 5: check email and log in again
